I've done this trek twice now and this photo is from the second trek.  It's taken inside a villagers house from literally the exact spot i slept -- its humble yes, and the floor is not soft, but the hospitality provided by our hosts is truly wonderful and makes the minor inconveniences very minor indeed.  And after walking 20-25km a hard floor is more than welcome believe me!

I remember waking at about 6am and sitting up and seeing those rays of the first morning light slicing through the wall... i hurriedly grabbed my camera and started snapping, got about 10 photos but this one turned out best due to our hosts posture and the baby looking back at me.... I somehow felt very privileged at the chance to capture such a moment in time!
